Dedicated to the preservation of our photographic heritageCalifornia Views Photo Archives, 469 Pacific Street in Monterey, California 93940 From Salinas or the East: Take Highway CA-68 (which turns into CA-1) to Monterey. Exit at Aguajito Avenue. Turn left onto Del Monte Avenue Stay on Del Monte in the far left lane until you reach Pacific Street. Turn left onto Pacific Street and go 1-½ blocks. The photo archives will be on your left, in the White cement building next to the city parking lot. From Carmel or the South: Take Highway One North to the Munras exit. Turn left onto Soledad street. Turn right onto Pacific Street. The photo archives will be on your right, between Jefferson Street and Franklin Streets, in the White cement building just before the city parking lot. Coming from the North: From Highway US-101 south, take CA-156 west towards Monterey to Highway CA-1. Then take the Del Monte Avenue exit. Stay in the far left lane until you reach Pacific Street. Turn left on Pacific Street and continue 1-½ blocks. The archives will be on the left, in the White cement building just pass the city parking lot. Drive time from San Jose is about 1 hour, 25 minutes. |
