Thomas Houseworth was born in New York City on June 12, 1828. He had a partnership with George S. Lawrence 1864-1867.
He was an early publisher of stereo and landscape scenes of California and Nevada views. He had his gallery at 317 & 319 Montgomery Street, San Francisco.
