A stretch of California's coastal Highway One is now reopen to oneway trafic after a chunk of the roadway fell into the Pacific Ocean. Closeing the highway for more than a month.
Just south of Rocky Creek Bridge and before Bixby Creek Bridge and about 12 miles south of Carmel.
We also have photos of the 1972 landslide in the Big Sur Village and the 1973 slide at the Coast Gallery and the March 1983 at Hurricane Point.
