We also have over 200 oblique Aerial images from 1906 to today of the Monterey Peninsula area and south to Big Sur and photos by George R. Lawrence of Salinas and San Jose in 1906.
Holdings: We have over 5,000 Monterey and 21,215 photos of Monterey County listed in our database. More Pacific Grove aerial photos.
We also have an 11x14 album by G. E. Russell Aero foto Co. of the Hotel del Monte, Monterey, Pebble Beach, Carmel in the early 1920s. Another collection we have is the Ted McKay 5x7 negative's taken in the late 1930s of Cannery Row, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Carmel and the Big Sur coast.
Other photographers that did aerial photographyare Dan Freeman, A.C. Heidrick, J. P. Graham, Kaldor-Bates, William L. Morgan, Rey J. Ruppel and Lee Blaisdell that we have in our archives.
